Draad-sitter or active participant

There are three main motivations for countries to entertain global partnership initiatives:

1. Purely for financial parasitic reasons (The beggar mentality)

2. To be part of a developing group of global leadership. The forerunners of "The One Globe" Leadership.

3. The "draad-sitters" - those who wait on the sideline to see which way the wind blows.

Christmas is a time for giving and remember the birth of someone who gave all.

There are too few leaders who put the needs and prosperity of the nation before her own and those who do are considered as political party poppers. 

Many leaders consider it unpolitical to speak out about the needs of the nation during this festive season. It is a fun stopper and does not bring any votes.

Any organization who considers the needs of other before their own during this season will get my vote.
